Is CapCut Pro Worth Buying?

Before I talk about the worthiness of capcut pro, you should know the backstory of why people are so outraged about cap cut and why there are so many opinions over the internet.

I know you have already googled it before reading my article and tried to read it on Reddit just to get clarity, but it seems you have now got more confused, right?

But do you know why they are so pissed off Capcut?

Because they have turned once-free features into paid ones and hiked their pricing. Initially, when capcut was launched, it was totally free, but slowly, they have added some features to the “Pro” version. And people are not able to digest this thing.

The good reviews that you’re watching are from those who have recently downloaded capcut, used it for a while, found it good, and bought “Pro”.

Now, in this article, we will discuss what you are going to get in the Pro version and what my experiences say about this app. Capcut is for whom?, etc.

What Do You Get With CapCut Pro?

I’ve been using CapCut Pro for a while now, and I have to say, it’s been a game-changer for my video editing. Here’s what I love about it and why I think it’s worth the upgrade:

  1. Watermark-Free Exports: Capcut’s free version lets you export video without a watermark.
  2. Trending Effects & Transitions: This is hands down my favorite part of CapCut Pro. I’m always trying to keep up with the latest trends on social media, and the Pro version gives me access to effects like glitch, zoom, and fade that make my videos stand out. It’s no wonder so many people upgrade just for this!
  3. Rich Text Decorations: I love playing around with text in my videos, and the Pro version takes it to the next level. The animated fonts and decorative options make my captions look so professional and eye-catching. It’s a small touch, but it makes a big difference.
  4. Cinematic Filters: As someone who loves creating cinematic-style videos, these filters are a dream come true. They give my footage that polished, movie-like feel, and I can’t get enough of them. It’s like having a mini Hollywood studio in my pocket.
  5. Image Quality Enhancement: I’ve had moments where my footage wasn’t as sharp or clear as I wanted it to be. The image quality enhancement tool has been a lifesaver for me, it fixes lighting issues, reduces noise, and makes everything look so much better.
  6. Retouching Tools: Since I create a lot of beauty-related content, the retouching feature is something I use all the time. It helps me smooth skin, refine features, and make sure everything looks flawless. It’s perfect for my niche.
  7. Customized Cutout: This is one of my personal favorites! I love how it adds a unique, artistic angle to my videos. Whether I’m working on a stop-motion intro or a vlog, the cutout feature always gives my content that extra wow factor.
  8. Templates: As someone who’s always on the go, I really appreciate the templates. They save me so much time, and even though I’m not a professional editor, they help me achieve high-quality results effortlessly. It’s a great feature for beginners like me.
  9. 100 GB Cloud Storage: The complimentary cloud storage is such a nice bonus. I can store all my projects securely and access them from anywhere, which makes editing on the go so much easier. It’s one less thing for me to worry about.

Is It Worth the Price?

Before I give my verdict on piercing, let’s see the pricing plan.

Capcut has 4 different pricing plans on their phone version.

  • Monthly –  If you subscribe capcut on a monthly basis, it will cost you $19.99
  • Yearly –  If you subscribe it for a yearly basis, it will cost you $179.99
  • One Year – Capcut will charge $219.99 if you want to use it for a year, which is any day better than a monthly plan. You will save $20 if you choose this one.
  • One Month – This plan is basically for those who just want to give it a try before subscribing for the long term and pricing is $23.99.

On the website, I have only 2 subscription plans:

  • One Month: $9.99
  • One Year: $89.99

In my opinion, there is no other app like capcut, and if I compare the pricing of capcut with it’s competitors like Kinemaster, VN Editor & Inshot, etc. Capcut Pro features totally justify the pricing that they are charging. If you’re casually just wanted to make an edit for somebody’s birthday or anniversary, the free version is enough, But if you’re:

  1. A content creator who regularly posts on social media,
  2. A freelancer working with clients, or
  3. Someone who values premium assets and a smoother workflow,

Then yes, CapCut Pro is worth every penny.

Who Should Skip CapCut Pro?

If you are looking for professional industry standard video editing software like Davinci, then you can drop capcut, but if you’re one who is already earning from their content creator journey and wants to save time in making a professional-looking video, then you can go with Pro otherwise stick to the free version if you do video editing occasionally.

My Experience With CapCut Pro

The free version already does so much, so what could Pro offer that justified the cost?

So, I thought about trying Capcut Pro free trial, and dude, trust me, after using Capcut Pro, I can’t tell how this app made my editing so easy and time-saving. Here, what I felt the differences.

  1. Premium Effects: These are a massive upgrade. The free effects are good, but the Pro ones are on another level. They look more polished and professional.
  2. Time Savings: The extended stock library, in-built photo editor, and background remover just saves lots of time and means I didn’t have to hop between CapCut and other sites to find resources or get my assets fixed at last movement. It’s all in one place, and that’s a huge convenience.
  3. No Watermark: For me, this alone is worth the price if you’re making content for a large audience. No watermark videos look more clean and professional.
  4. Seamless Workflow: With unlimited cloud storage, I could access my projects on different devices without any hassle. This was a lifesaver during travel. And this feature is rarely available on any video editor software. Every tool lacks somewhere in this segment.

Final Thoughts

No current generation video editing tool can match the Capcut’s efficiency, features, and power. While reading, it seems like I’m talking about some superhero, right? It is not less than that 😂😅. Like if you google and read the reviews, you will see some common things: “Capcut has made my editing fast, I saved a lot of time and didn’t need to switch between apps. I can edit my video anywhere, anytime, and on any platform.

And yes, these things are true and make the capcut unique from every other video editing software.

I really like and use it as my primary video editing tool and I recommend everyone to use it. I would like to hear about your experiences with capcut and from which year you’re using it.

In short, I would prefer to call this app a “No brainer Video editing tool”.
